PeoplePetsPlanet.net was established to provide resources, education and products to help you make a difference for people, animals, and our planet. (Yes, the name says pets but we're about all animals, it just sounds better with the alliteration!)

We have just launched on March 21, 2008, and will soon be adding lots of content in all these areas. Check back soon!

Founder

PeoplePetsPlanet.net is brought to you by Heidi Wiesenfelder, Ph.D. Heidi's background is diverse, spanning academics, nonprofit, and corporate arenas. She has expertise in scientific research as well as process management and improvement.

Heidi is the President of the Board of the Animal Welfare Alliance of Southern Arizona, and Immediate Past President of the Board of Directors for The Hermitage Cat Shelter, Tucson’s no-kill no-cage cat sanctuary and adoption center. In her work with nonprofits she continues to seek excellence in leadership, processes, and use of technology. In 2005 she completed United Way’s Multicultural Leadership Development Program, and is now a member of United Way's Inclusion Council.

Since 2006 she has been involved with the Amazon Herb Company, a company which shares her values and allows her to make a difference for people and animals here and in the Amazon Rainforest and for our planet. Her work with the herbs ties in with her goal of helping others improve, enhance and transform themselves. Her Amazon Herb site can be accessed here.

In her business, Intelligent Insights, she provides services for small business to improve, enhance, and transform themselves, according to principles such as sustainability and systems thinking. She also serves intermittently as a graduate advisor for the Master's program at Prescott College, as well as a thesis reader and writing tutor.

Her goal is to prosper while making a difference for people, animals, and the planet.

Kay Aubrey-Chimene is owner of Grand Adventures Ranch and Rainbow's End Bed & Breakfast. She is a Bio-Nutritional Consultant with over 15 years international experience in animal health and nutrition. She has helped many individuals and animals enjoy healthy lives through her straightforward holistic approach.
